ABOUT

Naomi Collet is a London-based artist whose work is a vibrant fusion of cultures and narratives. Born in São Paulo, Brazil, her mixed heritage has deeply influenced her artistic vision.

Drawing inspiration from diverse ethnicities and folklore, Naomi creates visual narratives which seem to bridge cultures and time periods. Her paintings are characterised by bold colours, intricate patterns, and dynamic compositions.

Naomi’s work is a reflection of her ongoing exploration of identity and belonging. By blurring the lines between reality and fantasy, she invites viewers to question their own perceptions and to connect with the universal themes of love, loss, and longing. Her art is a testament to the power of storytelling, and the enduring allure of the human spirit.

Additionally, she draws inspiration from 19th-century art and her own heritage, blending Japanese and Brazilian influences to create a unique visual language.
